Whether it is health or happiness that is the challenge, I can help. My counseling sessions are designed to help you identify and become aware of what is causing problems, and then find a solution so that you can get back in the swim of things.

My Approach

Counseling is always done using the 3 Rs formula in my book, Why I Canceled My Health Insurance. The formula is easy to remember and powerful in its application:

1. Responsibility – We all need to take responsibility for our lives, including our problems, in order to empower ourselves to make changes. This means no longer blaming anything or anyone; it also means no feelings of guilt for having caused our own problems. I can help you become aware of the origins of any discord or health problem in your life so that you can deal with these.
2. Release – Once you accept responsibility for whatever is happening, you recognize that our own thoughts and feelings can create sadness or happiness, illness or health. Then I can show you how to release toxic memories, thoughts and emotions that have wreaked havoc with your health and your life. I will walk you through exercises that are simple and even fun. It may be easier than you think.
3. Renew – After releasing (or even while releasing) what is no longer serving you, you can renew your life with positive actions, thoughts and words. These have the power to heal quickly and my own life is a testament to this, as you will learn in my book.
